Refund Policy

iotto provides a 7-day free trial so you can fully evaluate the service before paying. Once the trial ends and you are charged, our policy is no refunds, with the specific exceptions listed below.

7-day free trial — your evaluation window

Every first-time subscription includes a 7-day free trial. You can cancel anytime during the trial at zero charge — your card will not be billed. The trial is the right time to test whether iotto fits your needs.

Cancellation — stops future billing only

You can cancel your subscription at any time via Settings → Subscription, or through the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation stops all future charges but does not refund the current billing period; you keep access until the period ends. This is consistent with how most digital subscription services (including ChatGPT, Claude, Notion, Cursor) operate.

No refunds for already-charged periods

Once a billing period begins and a charge is captured, that charge is non-refundable. We do not offer pro-rated, partial, or change-of-mind refunds. Because every chat message consumes real AI inference cost that we cannot recover, we cannot reimburse usage after the fact. The 7-day trial exists specifically so you do not have to commit before knowing whether iotto works for you.

Full refund — system errors only

We provide an unconditional full refund (regardless of time elapsed) in these specific situations: (1) duplicate or unauthorized charges, (2) extended service outage (iotto unavailable for 24+ continuous hours), (3) fraudulent or compromised-card transactions, (4) Stripe processing errors. Contact hello@iotto.io and include the charge ID or invoice number.

How to request a refund or cancel

Cancellation: open Settings → Subscription → Manage / cancel subscription, or use the Stripe Customer Portal. Refund (exceptions only, per above): email hello@iotto.io with your account email, charge ID, and reason. We respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds return to the original card within 3-10 business days via Stripe.
